Presets

A preset stores brush-engine settings. Duplicate a preset before changing its tip, stroke parameters, or input dynamics. Save the modified settings under a separate name.

Tips and textures

A brush-tip image defines the dab’s shape and transparency. A texture adds surface variation. Image dimensions, transparency, and tiling affect the resulting marks.

Import and export

Brush formats differ between applications. An imported preset may not reproduce settings that the destination brush engine does not support. Compare test strokes after import and check pressure and texture behavior before saving the preset.
